CPC Inset is dedicated to supporting the development and adoption of Commodity Plus Carbon inset futures contracts. Our mission is to integrate verified carbon performance into agricultural commodity markets, providing transparent, market based tools that align environmental outcomes with real trading activity.

The CPC Inset Journey
Planting Season
Farmers can choose to enroll one, some, or all of their fields in the program by providing acreage, location, and agronomic plans to GIC Group. Using this information, GIC Group establishes a base emissions score and emissions forecast for participating fields.
Growing Season
Farmers maintain full flexibility to adjust their plans based on operational needs, and CPC allows participation alongside other non-competing programs.
Harvest Season
CPC bushels produced on the farm are serialized and certified based on CI scores.
Emissions Tracking
Farm results are compared to baseline emissions using statistical analysis, with secure tabulation of CPC bushels and grower premiums determined by farm and crop emissions performance.
Serialization
Each CPC bushel is assigned a unique digital serial number to ensure authenticity and prevent unauthorized re trading, with all CPC data securely recorded on blockchain technology.
